Benjamin Chambers b 1870 1st married Carolyn____? they had one child to my knowledge named Annie, who married JE Skittlethorpe. Benjamin 2nd married Captiola "Cappie" Davenport (1870-1944). They are buried at Piney Grove Cem in Washington, Co. They had the following children: Hazel, Edna Earl, John Shelton, Wilbert Franklin, Albert Ray, Edith, Lottie, Melvin, & Eleanor. I have been told by another researcher that Cappie's father was Wesley Monroe Davenport married to Kizziah_____? Can anyone verify this for me. I live about 800 miles from the Wash. Co court house.
