I believe this is a direct link to my family. You show Alfred Jackson (b.1830 married Elizabeth (b.1831 and the children are basically the same as the info that I have. However, my info shows the Jackson to be William Henry Jackson, b. 1829, and Elizabeth being born 1830 or 31. This Elizabeth is half sister to my grandmother. Elizabeth is Elizabeth Collins (called Betty). My grandmother's name was Mary Winifred Collins. Their father was James Collins of Bertie Co., near Windsor in a section called Indian Woods. The children of this Elizabeth and William Henry Jackson are: Polsey Elizabeth Jackson, b. 1851 (mar J.G. Ausborn Henry Alfred Jackson, b.1852; d. 1864. Lucy Ann Jackson,b.1853; mar Dave Swinson (they had son named John Swinson) James Franklin Jackson, b.1855 William Joseph Jackson, b.1858; mar Leah Allen (had son Henry Gray Jackson) Martha Winifred Jackson, b.1860; mar A.Bateman (had dau.Marsha Bateman) Stuart I. Jackson, b.1861 Levi Foster Jackson, b.1863; mar. Florence Williams Louis Jackson, b.1865; mar Nettie Hat I have more information on the Collins side - which was Elizabeth Collins and may also have more on the Jackson children. Do you think this is the same? Too many likenesses not to be the same. My records came from the Jackson Bible. Would like to hear from you.
