Hi I am looking for any information regarding the Swain's that left Nantucket Island and headed for the Carolina's. I m a 12th generation granddaughter and trying to find a link to the Revoluntionary War...any member of the family , man, woman, or child that aided in any way towards the effort...it could be a simple as handing a soldier a cup of water or a piece of bread.
