I haven't posted anything lately but if anyone finds any information on the Stephens (Stevens) line I would be grateful if you would pass on to me. My Stephens's are from that area and earliest known Stephens I have is James Calvin Stephens born about 1802, had left area by approximately 1848-1849 and moved to Tennessee. He married Mary Manier in Warren County on January 10, 1822. One child was born in Caswell County. James may also have originated or have some ties in Nash County. Thanks for any help.
