But. you already have the best info available from the Court House. The records you were hoping to find did not begin until 1868. From the Marriage Bond Index Preface: "The act which authorized the marriage bonds was passed in 1741 and it remained the law until 1868 when the present form of marriage license was authorized." It is the Marriage License which give the names of the Parents of the Bride and Groom ... etc. Sorry, Alexs
