My ancestors have a connection with the Harris family in Granville County but I have not figured out just how yet. My ggg-grandfather William Rial MOORE was married in Wake County to Martha WADFORD in 1852. The bondsman was John HARRIS. His brother Lemuel MOORE married Mary WADFORD in 1851 in Wake County also. Simeon HARRIS was his bondsman. Lemuel and William Rial both lived in Granville County from 1850-1860. Lemuel was killed in the Civil War in 1864. Rial lived in Franklin County in 1880 and was still there in 1891. Not sure what happened to him after that. Thanks.
