Having found some information about the JENKINS family I wish to corroborate it. It includes the subject marriage. According to this source Martha House was a daughter of William HOUSE and Hannah HOLLISTER. Reportedly she was born in Connecticut. Jesse's older brother, Thomas JENKINS, married Tobitha (Tabitha?) HOUSE according to another source. A daughter of Jesse JENKINS and Martha HOUSE, Elizabeth Ford JENKINS, is said to have married William CHRISTMAS 23 May 1790. He was a son of Thomas CHRISTMAS and Sarah DUKE. There were several men named Jesse JENKINS in this family. I am descended from one of them, and I am trying to sort them out correctly. I also want to evaluate the reliability of the source from which this information was obtained. Your help will be much appreciated. Tom Aiken
