Patsey DUKE md John LANGFORD, per a Warren Co marriage bond dated 25 July 1787 (Wm Beckham, bm). Has anyone run across evidence as to the parents of Martha "Patsey" Duke, and if so, who would they be? Also, this appears to be the John Langford, son of George Langford, per the 1780/1782 LWT of a George Langford naming sons John, George, Kerby, Joab, & daughter Delilah. Does anyone know of another John Langford around Warren during this same timeframe which might confuse this matter? Thanks for any help, Sandy
