If anyone one the list has access to abstacts of will or deeds I would appreciate very much if someone would do a lookup for me. I am searching for a family with the surname Birds/Byrds. They were from Franklin Co.,N.C. which derived from Bute Co. A lot of the old Bute Co. records are stored in Warren Co. as Bute was split between Warren and Franklin. I am searching for anything that might woud give a clue to the names of the orphans of Needham Bird or his wifes name. Also any information at all on the names of parents ,children or wife of James Bird. My best guess would be that this would be between the years 1770-1790.
