Hello, List: I just recently joined this list because someone was kind enough to share some Warren Co., NC marriage records with the Robertson mailing list, and I found some of my family names shown, though I do not know for sure if they are "my" guys. I only know that they came from NC for sure, but not sure about the county. Regardless, I thought I'd throw out my Robertson line, in case anyone recognizes the names, or perhaps has done some research that could give me any clues about this family! The ROBERTSON marriages from Warren Co., NC have a William ROBERTSON m. Nancy White 11/28/1808 (according to the post), which could easily be "my" William Pitt Robertson (Sr.). Also interesting is that there is a marriage between Isham Robertson and Patty Peebles 12/09/1779 - and the youngest son of William Pitt Robertson, (Jr.) is Isham Pitt Robertson, not a name that I would consider common. I am at a dead end on this family group and am grasping at any plausible clue that might lead me to additional information! Thanks in advance! Allison M.
