Hi Rebecca, To my knowledge, none of the Freeman researchers have definitely proven that Edward's wife was named Elizabeth. It is thought she COULD have been Elizabeth Rowland, but no proof. There are some of us who think also that Edward was married to a Lucy Cato, but no proof of this either. Early deeds show an Edward and Sarah, as well as Edward and Lucy. I am not aware of any deed that show an Edward and Elizabeth. But who knows???
