John Ezzell and Thomas Grose were listed in 1781 at a sale of estate of Richard Sherry (deceased). They were listed as purchasers in Will book 5. Does anyone have copy of that will or further information? The names of Groves/Grose and Ezzell seem to be living closely together in another North Carolina County(Duplin) and I wondered if there was a connection? Do they move around the countyside together etc:? Other names mentioned are John Hawkins, sheriff; dionitia Sherry, David Crawley, David Hardy, Jehue Stokeley, Shon Sherry, Gen. Thomas Eaton, and Samuel Williford. Wanda Groves Kohlmann
