My grandfather's brother, George L. Shearin, disappeared about 1914 and was never heard from again. According to my grandfather, Frank C., he talked about going to South America and tried to persuade Frank to accompany him. Over the years, when unidentified bodies were located, my grandfather was called to try to identify him but was never successful. George was married to Lillian P. Adcock and had four children including twin girls. He was born in Warren Co., NC about 1880 but I don't know where he disappeared from except that it was in NC. Any suggestions? Gail Shearin Dupree
