    3. I stopped off at out local library today and found your civil war relative in the NC Troops 1861-1865. This is what I found: (In Company F, 12th Regiment NC Troops) Brown, Charles Z. , private Resided in Warren County and was by occupation a farmer prior to enlisting in Warren County at age 31, April 18, 1861. Present or accounted for through February 25, 1865. This Company know as the "Warren Guards" was raised in Warren Co. and enlisted at Warrenton on April 18, 1861.
