Read the Warren pages all the time and thought for sure the names Wilson, Paschall, Bartlett, Swepton, and Sturtivant would come up somewhere and it did in the Edison list I copied last night. In early 1800's most of this line migrated to Rockingham Co. NC and then in 1840's on to Carroll Co. Va. Just had a stand still with Henry Wilson and who his father was...know he married Rachel Pashcall. and later Lucy Swepton dying in 1811(?). Also recently found that another ancestor, "Pepper" John Smyth(Smith) was married in Warren Co. in ,I believe, 1804 to Elizabeth Wilks. I always thought he was from Surry Co. NC til John Perry Alderman told me he had found it. John was a cook in the war of George Wahington's Day( as described in family bible) and got the name pepper from the obvious, alot of peppering the food. Any references or knowing where I can further look would be appreciated. Connie
