Other MASON men shown in Warren in 1784 are Hunt, John, and Samuel. There are no listings for MACON in Warren County in the above listed volume. In North Carolina Taxpayers 1701 - 1786, there is a Gideon MACON 1755 in neighboring Granville County. There are also MACON listings for James, Thomas, and William in 1771 in that area from which Warren was established in 1779.
