    3. Looking for info on Roderick (William) Bigelow, (also spelled "Bigaloe, Begalow, Biglow") listed in Warren Co. Minutes to Court of Pleas and Quarter Sessions, Volume V,1801-1805, pg. 51, 75, 95, Volume VI, 1806-1809, pg. 96, 115, 127, Volume VII, 1810-1813, page 21, 43. Don't have the aforementioned information court info but have requested it. Roderick Bigelow married Elizabeth Pattillo (also spelled "Pattiloe"), Warren Co. Nov. 20, 1811. Elizabeth Pattillo had three kids, Elizabeth, Mary and Thomas when she married Roderick. Roderick was Thomas Bigelow's stepfather. Roderick Bigelow died Warren Co. 1819. Don't have will but have requested it from NC Archives. Roderick Bigelow lists as owning 310 slaves in 1810 census, Warren Co. Want to find any information on "guardianship" for Roderick to give Thomas his name, i.e., Thomas Bigelow. Thomas Bigelow used both Thomas Bigelow and Thomas Pattillo interchangeably. Thomas Bigelow, listed 1850 census, Caswell Co. owned 1,110 acres of land and lists Warren County as his birthplace. Trying to find Thomas Pattillo's natural father, ie., Elizabeth Pattilo's 1st husband (or husband right before Roderick) in Warren County. Want information on "Elizabeth Bigelow", Thomas mother, Roderick's wife (name at time of marriage, Elizabeth Pattiloe ). She was executor or Roderick's will, Caswell County, 1819. Found Elizabeth Bigelow, Craven County, New Berne, census, 1820, 1840, 1850. She lived in Warren County before marrying Roderick Bigelow with 3 kids in 1811. Want information on Elizabeth Pettillo, listed Warren Co. Minutes to Court of Pleas and Quarter Session, Volume IV, 1797-1800, page 18. Want information Betsy Pettillo, listed Warren Co. Minutes to Court of Pleas and Quarter Session, Volume V, 1801-1805, page 28.
