Thanks to everyone for jumping in to offer help with the marriage and death records. This project seems to be a done deal! Don't expect anything spectacular because this is only the marriages and deaths that made their way to the Raleigh, N. C. newspapers.. still I thought it was worth doing. I was reminded of the old saying of "Still waters run deep" - I had no idea we had so many people who were so willing and eager to help. Believe me, I will do my best to find other projects to take advantage of our collective talents.
