Wanted to let everyone know the Bute Co. GenWeb page is now online - barely. I have just started transcribing and posting the material on hand. Ginger has prepared a complete index to the Bute Co. Wills and we have started transcribing Mary Hinton Kerr's Bute Co. records. I do want to ask, if anyone has ANY copy or transcripton of any Bute Co. Wills, please consider sharing them. Bute Co. only existed from 1764 to 1779 so I do think it is possible to put a copy of each and every Will online with a little help. Take a look at what we have started. Thanks to Sen. Kerr, we have permission to place Mary Hinton Kerr's books online. This will be a tremendous effort for me but she was a dear friend and I think this will be a great tribute to her legacy.
