For those who don't know about it, the North Carolina State Archives has a MARS database online where you can search their records and see what kind of files they have available. You can key in your family name, and they give you the list of files they have, including Court Records, Bibles, Marriage Records, etc. You click onto the hits and it gives a full description of those files. There are also other parameters you can use so you can play with it to see what's there.
