Nancy, Unfortunately, the court records you mentioned are about all we have other than Wills and Deeds. I believe the Wills and Deed abstracts for Bute are also online. Naturally for the Wills and Deeds, complete copies are available but I think the court records are pretty much as you see them. I am sure you know that Bute only existed for 15 years. Thanks to Mary Hinton Kerr and Brent Holcomb who did the Bute Co. records, we do have a lot of material but the court minutes are just that, very brief minutes of the court proceedings. Since there are people on the mailing list who are very knowledgeable about what is available, I am sure they can tell you if there are helpful records that I am not aware of but truth is I am afraid there is nothing more to be gleaned from the court minutes.
