Miles Jordan lived in Warren county, NC while serving in stateline army from 1781-1785 and possibly until 1800. He then moved to GA. I know about GA. I have no early information, or dates, or parents, or siblings, or possible earlier marriage & children for Miles. Thank you for information. Sandra

Do you have a Emma Moore in your cemetery listing? She died between 1900-1906, not sure where but she was from Warren County. Her maiden name was Capps but she married Elijah Moore in 1896 so I assume she would be buried as Emma Moore. She was also married to a Hull and King before marrying Elijah Moore. Thanks. This is what I found: (In Company F, 12th Regiment NC Troops) Brown, Charles Z. , private Resided in Warren County and was by occupation a farmer prior to enlisting in Warren County at age 31, April 18, 1861. Present or accounted for through February 25, 1865. This Company know as the "Warren Guards" was raised in Warren Co. and enlisted at Warrenton on April 18, 1861. Glad someone mentioned David Gammon since I have been wanting to know if he has any new books. I bought all he had at the time but that was a couple of years ago.
