I am searching for information on a town or community known as Fairmont in Wake county during the early 1800's. I can nolonger find it on maps of North Carolina. The only Fairmont on the modern maps is in Robeson county. Also, I am searching for information of Benjamin Lambert born 1799, William Randall Lambert born 1825 in Fairmont, NC and Phillip Ralston Lambert born 1836. All three moved to Georgetown county South Carolina by 1840. Any information on any siblings, decendants, ancestors etc. would be a GIGANTIC help. Thanks in advance James A. Lambert [email protected]
