    3. Sherri, There are several mentions of Frederick Ezell, in "Abstracts of Records of Wills, Inventories and Settlements of Estates in Wake Co., NC" by Frances H. Wynne. Frederick , Phebe and Penny Ezell all witnessed the will of Thomas Hollingsworth in May of 1803. Frederick and Apeneth Ezell were witnesses to the will of John Felts in Aug. of 1802. The above Apeneth may actually been Asenith, because an Asenith Ezell, left a will in May of 1808 whereby he/she ? left money to the Baptist Church at the crossroads that he/she belonged to. He/she left money to Betsy and Nancy Embry, daus. of Joel Embry of KY. $10 to Phebe Ezell, to Frederick a Bible, household goods. Lent household goods to Polley Jones, wife of Abram Jones, for her lifetime, then to her dau. Ruth Jones. Betsey Lofton Moring, wife of Henry Moring got $20. The rest of the property was divided equally between Nancy Dean, dau. of thos. Dean and Lucy, his wife. Sally Ezell, dau. of Hartwell Ezell, Kitty, Betsey, Anna, Polley Wall, daughters of Burwell Wall and his wife Betsy. Exectrs = friends Frederick Ezell, Henry Moring, 13 Mar. 1808 Wit. Wm. Amos, Jurat, Ann (+) Thompson. In the estate sale of John Ezell, deceased, recorded May 1809 Frederick bought items as did Aseneth Ezell (another one?), Fred Ezell, John ezell, Hartwell Ezell, and Zadock Ezell was the Exectr. dated 15 Apr. 1808 Frederick files accounts of the estate of Asenith/Asenath/Assenith over the period of 3 years (1811). So he was there at least til then. If you can find copies of "Tenn. Valley Leaves" , you may find some records of the Alabama Ezell's. They were charter members of the Tenn. Valley, Gen. Soc., and submitted info. The couple I knew of, was from Madison Co., but they could have come from Dale. Hope this helps some. How about the rest of you on the list. This thing has been dead for weeks now. Can any of you help? I've had lots of unsubscribes, lately because no one is posting anything. Hello, out there ?
