    3. Carolyn, I might have a connection to your Browns. Mine are from Wake Co., NC. There is a Jesse Brown that died Feb 1829 in Wake Co. He married a Anna Scrimpton. Jesse's father was John Brown, mother was Susannah Brown, maiden name unknown. Children are: William Brown born abt 1794 (married Elizabeth Hayes) Nancy Brown born abt 1795 (married Johnothan Beddingfield) Willie Brown born abt 1799 (married Margaret Griffin) Jesse Brown, Jr. born bet 1791-1800 (married a Rebecca Brinkley) Susannah Brown born abt 1801 (married Reuben Mitchell) (THE LINE I'M INTERESTED IN) Sarah Sally Brown born abt 1805 (married John Wall) Henry Brown born ?? (married Susan Griffin) Solomon Brown born abt 1807 (married Harriet Wilder) Elizabeth "Betsy" Brown born abt ?? (married Benjamin Jarrell) I have a copy of the original will of Jesse Brown, Sr. So there is proof of all that is above. Does any of this seem familiar with what you have??? I'm excited that I might have a connection.
