Thank you for your help Carolyn. I am interested in a Robert Brown and a Barnaba Brown who were around the Birds in Wake County in the late 1700's. Both of these Browns served as witness's to Joab Bird and his wife, Jane Bird's will and marriage respectfully. The Allen name is also in play. That's all I know...not much admittedly. Thanks again. You are welcome. I'm trying to type up this info and will post as an attachment to the Browne mailing list at Rootsweb when I'm done. I'm having a difficult time following the exact set up -- but, hopefully I can get it done enough success to make sense to anyone out there who is at least familiar with the names. I probably won't get finished until this weekend, though.
