    3. I know that it is a big disappointment, but no census was every designed to further Genealogy interests. Governments are interested in MONEY. Look at the 1790 - 1840 census. They were able apportion the House of Representatives and it told them how many men were old enough for military service. Nowdays they are interested in where to spend the money they collect in taxes.
