Is anyone in Wake County actively researching the HOUSE or ROGERS family at this time? Sue Hall
My husband's family includes: Stephen Rogers (d. 1839), married to Pamellah Wood Joseph Rogers (1796-1838), m. to Telitha Dawson James William Farthing Rogers (1827-1902), m. to Mary Ann Dennis Minnie Jane Rogers (1874-1960), m. to Joseph Blalock. I would like to fill in some gaps of siblings of the above, and am willing to swap information. Sue, Do you know whether or not you have an Allen Rogers in your family line? He would have been a grown man in the 1820's. He was mentioned in the estate settlement of John Warmoth as having been paid for taking care of some of the Warmoth property. This property could have been either in Wake County or Franklin County. John Warmoth owned property in both counties. Mrs. Warmoth was moved back to Wake County after John Warmoth died. Sue, Telitha Dawson appears in my database as the daughter of William Dawson and Agnes (LNU).and the sister of Isaac Dawson who was born in 1797. If this is your Telitha, I have quite a bit of her ancestry if you are interested. Sorry, I don't have any information about the Rogers...
