I'm trying to trace two of the children of William Bedford and Salome Bissette Winborne. Salome was the daughter of James P. and Mary A. Ferrell Bissette. I think their 3 children were born in Nash Co., and they lived with their Bissette grandparents in Nash in 1910, suggesting that the parents had died, but after that I can only account for Octavia Winborne (1897-1976). She married Milton S. Deans and lived and died in Wake Co. after her mariage. Octavia had a brother named James Fernie Winborne, born 6 Jun 1899 (name spelled Wimborn on WWI draft card), whom I cannot find after 1918. She had another brother named Cumba, born about 1902, also listed as Cumb and Cumbes in the NC Birth Index, which says he and Nora or Nannie Eatman had two children - Estelle Winborne in 1920 and Bettie Winborne in 1924. I can't find any trace of this family either. Do any of these names sound familiar to anyone? And does anyone know death dates for William Bedford and Salome Winborne? Thanks. Joanne Gaudio
