Reesa, You can probably request them by mail at the address noted below. They are .15 each. Depending on the years that your request is for as to whether the certificates are at the Register of Deeds or at the Archives. But there is probably an index there. You wish to check with the Register of Deeds before you make your request. Birth and death certificates are at this address also, but I believe they are handled by a different department. When you request birth certificates, you must have the parents names. Everything is filed by the father's name except for those where the father is unknown. Thanks Virginia for your response. I did contact Register of deeds. I received one marriage license for 1933, but, was advised to contact Achives for the marriage license 1869-1929. When I contacted Achives the response was they only had marriage cert to 1868. If I am out of state a charge of $20 for each. Also, Achives provided a list of people that might be willing to search for a fee, I'll check into that later. Thanks so much again, Tee "Monday, Bill and Virginia" <mondaypad@bellsouth.net> wrote: Reesa, You can probably request them by mail at the address noted below. They are .15 each.
