My wife and I have been researching the Surls family from Wake County NC. Thomas Surls or earliest known ancestor was born in 1773 in Wake County NC. He married Ruth Mainard or Maynard. in 1809. I have a copy of Thomas's will but I have not been able to find the parents of Thomas Surls. If anyone can help with finding his parents or his siblings if any please let me know.
