To Betty Owens: I have not yet requested any records from the Archives, but I did get some help from the Wake County Genealogy Society. For a fee of $10, and some specific information I had asked for, they provided me with copies of my ancestor's will, estate inventory, land records, etc. You can e-mail them with your request and they will give you instructions as to what they need and what they can help you with.
