James Britton BAUCOM b. 1796 Rockingham, Wake Co, NC d. 1833 Adams, IL m. 2/9/1817 Elizabeth Barker b. 1798 Caswell Co, NC d. living 1872 *Elizabeth's parents are George Barker, Jr, b. 3/25/1759 Louisa Co, VA d. 4/4/1841 Maury Co, TN and Frances Kerr b.10/14/1765 in NC and living in 1820. They married in Caswell Co, NC on 10/18/1783. George Jr's father, George Barker, Sr, b. ca 1730 and d. in Caswell Co, NC in 1788. Frances' father, Alexander Kerr, Jr died in Caswell Co, NC Dec 1813. >From here the line goes to Maury Co, TN and Ellis Co, TX.
