Does anyone know the parents of the Amanda Riley (1859-1947) who married Curtis V. Todd (1859-1947) about 1877? Curtis was the son of William O. and Eliza Privette Todd. Curtis and his siblings were heirs in the estate of their grandfather, James Todd, in Wake Co., and he was mentioned in a 1778 court document as "Curtis Todd & wife Amanda Riley Todd." I can't find Amanda Riley in the 1870 census. I'm interested in two different Riley families, and I'd sure be interested to know if Amanda was connected to one of them! In 1910 Cirt V. and Amanda Todd lived in Marks Creek and said they'd been married 33 years. Thanks. Joanne Pearce Gaudio
