Could someone help me identify where Neals Creek is (or was)? I have a ggg grandfather, Alsey Hamilton, who bought land on Neals Creek in 1819. I would like to have a general idea of where that would be in Wake county. Thanks, Nancy nbhamil@msn.com

Nancy - It's 'Neil's Creek', and is in Harnett County, NC... As an fyi - you can always utilize an online or in print gazetteer that will help you locate any area that is/was for a state. In print copies are almost always at a local library, even for areas outside of where you live. Don't recall the name of the last online gazetteer that I used, sorry!
