Hi Beverly, Being from Levelland you may have seen the book " A Family Called Fort", by Homer T. Fort, of Lubbock. If you haven't, your family may be in it. I have a Fort line also, they were in Edgecombe Co., N.C. mid 1700's. My line married into the Bynum family.
