Hello, My family has hit a brick wall in our search for the parentage of our gggrandfather, Burrell HUNTER, born 29 Jul 1797 in NC. He wed Betsy BRIGANCE 20 Nov 1819 in Sumner Co.TN. Their oldest son was named George Theophilus who in turn , had a son named Robert Theophilus leading us to believe there may have been a Theophilus HUNTER in their past.
