Perry was the youngest son of Sion Perry, and brother to Ducalion, Ransom, and others. Sion and some of his children were b.. in Wake Co., NC. They lived in Sumner Co., TN. Two of Sion's sons came to Washington Co., TX, and they were Judge Albert G. Perry and Dr. Ducalion A. Perry. Albert G. moved on to Grimes County, and married the daughter of Jesse Grimes, who was Harriet. He then moved to Falls Co., again serving as judge, and had the town of Perry named for him. Ducalion Perry was murdered by a slave, and his children by his first wife, Jane Gates (Kuykendall) had their uncle, A. G. Perry, as their guardian. Ducalion married second: Eunice Elizabeth Gardner (Little), who was b. in Salem, Massachusetts. His grandson, son of Gardner Ducalion Perry, was Selser Howard Perry, who m. Ella Esther Turner in Grimes Co. Her mother was Esta Gressett. Selser and Ella were my grandparents. Please tell me more of these people, if you know of them or their ancestors and descendants.
