Hi list, I am one of your new people. I know that I am researching the following: Adams, Philip Sr. came to Wake Co. from Halifax Co. Brassfield Ward Hockaday All b. before 1800. My Philip Adams Jr. left Wake Co. and landed in Weakley Co. TN. around 1835 and died bet. 1840-1850. One of Philip, Jr. brothers went to Tn and some of the Ward children. Rest stayed in Wake Co. I have been a member of the Society for about two years but just signed up for the list. Thanks for being there. Also did the flooding this past summer do very much damage to the records in Raligh? I hope to come, meet and do some research with new found "cousin" this year. I am a full time RVer so you might hear and then nothing for a few days. We plan to leave our present spot on the coast of Miss. on the 21st and I do not know when I will have access to a phone. I do get back when possible, so be patient.
