There is one particularly long Petition that Reuben SEARCY drafted to the Court of Granville County March 23, 1759. He and others are apparently calling into question the practices of an Attorney, M'r. Robert JONES, Jr. This is to lengthy to type everything it says but they are asking that M'r JONES be Prohibited "....from pleading at our barr for the future...." I have not listed every entry where Reuben SEARCY'S name appears but most are either as Juror, Justice, or Witness etc. to some bond or court action. I have already covered some of the other SEARCY'S listed, but since this is getting so long I will look for any other information and make another post later on the remaining names I have not mentioned.
