Among these was a two part listing of the descendants of Eli Pressley (who was my great grandfather), compiled by a lady named Sherrin whose address as best as I am able to recall was Indian Trail. I once had copies of these but lost them some years ago along with much of my other data. If anyone can furnish copies of these columns or can point me in the right direction to find them, I would be most appreciative. Doug Norwood>> You might try writing to The Heritage Room, Old Union County Courthouse, Monroe, NC 28111 and asking if they have the information you are looking for. You could also try calling them. I do not have the telephone number, but their hours are Monday-Wednesday 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and Thursday, 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. They are not open on Fridays, Saturdays, or Sundays. Hope this helps. Anne
