My name is Eddie Helms and I live in Monroe. I have recently started researching my family's roots. I don't know exactly how to about it. I've been to the Heritage Room at the old courthouse but didn't find any info that I didn't alredy have. My father's name is Roger Dale Helms (b. 9/6/58) and my grandfather's was Lonnie Wilson Helms (b. 12/19/13, d.10/6/86) . If anyone can help, please e-mail me.
