I am trying to contact others working on the GAY family of Union County. I am hoping that my line from SC is connected to this same family since the names seem to match very closely. There is a GAY family cemetery out on NC 207, between Trinity and Altan, that is still well-maintained. Does anyone know about this cemetery and this family? I am descended from Nathaniel GAY [1812-1891] who lived in Kershaw/Lancaster County, SC and was married to Margaret J. WILLIAMS. Any/all help "greatly" appreciated.
