    1. [NCUNION] Th Perfect Gift
    2. holmes
    3. How to Give the Perfect Christmas Gift 1. Give more than you expect to receive. God gave his only begotten Son. If we give ourselves this in not more than God gave. 2. Give to someone that cannot possibly give to you. Jesus sought the poor, blind, hungry-- those in need. 3. Give to someone that you have a broken relationship with. God gave to sinners--sin causes a broken relationship. God gave salvation through His son. 4. Give to someone that doesn’t deserve a gift. We do not deserve Christ as our savior. 5. Give something that you would rather keep yourself. God would rather have kept Christ--He searched all over heaven and the only perfect gift was His son. “Because there was no room for Him in the inn” Make room for Him in your heart this Christmas! Merry Christmas and a Happy 2000!

    1. Re: [NCUNION] James Horn(e)-lots of other ones.
    2. JAMES G. BLACK
    3. I have several James Horn(e)s in Union Co.,NC. Your James E. Horn(e) is on the 1860 census of Union Co, with more children than the ones you listed. There is also a Mary Jane and a Fredrick. There is a James P.Horn who was 24 in 1860 with a wife Emaline 25 and son Benjamin 1yr. Another James E Horne is 68 in 1870 with wife? Elizabeth 30 and children James, Sophia, Ella, Elisha, And infant. My James Horn(e) was b. abt. 1802 and I just realized that the James E Horne who was 68 in 1870 could very well be my James Horn(e) with a new and younger family. This James E. had children all under 8yrs old in 1870. Thanks for your reply. I had not considered that possibility. Jean Black

    1. [NCUNION] Fredericksburg, VA Civil War Cemetery Listing
    2. Harold Polk
    3. I have just uploaded a listing of the Civil War Soldiers buried in and around Fredericksburg/Spotsylvania, VA. I obtained the list from the Parks Service in F'burg and typed the list in a table, sorted by states. I hope to put up a alphabetical sorting soon but this will suffice for the time being. The page has no bells or whistles on it yet but the information is there for your use. My gggrandfather John Tally(Talley) was killed at The Battle of Spotsylvania and I have been trying to find where he is buried, but it is not here unfortunely. If anyone has any information on this man would appreciate an email.
