    3. Hey there... I am also researching the Long family. I am researching a William Stanhope Long 1852-1924. He was buried in Clear Creek, Mecklenburg Co., NC. I believe his parents were Jacob K. Here are my direct line surnames: (You can see dates and connections on my website http://creeder.taylordata.com/) Reeder, Pressley, Baucom, Long, Estridge, Blackmon, Polk, Simpson (2), Medlin(2), Helms (3), Price (3), Presson, Ferguson, Lee, Ogburn, Rainwaters, Whitley, Williams (SC & NC), Keziah, Tom(b)erlin, Trull, Griffin, Mullis, Curlee, McCollum, Cagle, Robards, Morton -----Original Message----- From: Tarheel963@aol.com [mailto:Tarheel963@aol.com] Sent: Saturday, March 20, 1999 7:43 PM To: NCUNION-L@rootsweb.com Subject: [NCUNION-L] UNION COUNTY ADDRESS JERALD B LONG 8708 MCCARTNEY WAY CHARLOTTE, NC 28216 RESEARCHING LONG, HELM, RICHARDSON & BLYTHE THANKS ______________________________

    3. Public documents usually are not protected by copyright. However, I have seen cases in which, although the information in a state document was unprotected, the printer's typesetting and graphics were protected. In such a case, you could take notes or retype the information, but not photocopy or reprint the book directly. 1. Unidentified subject!
    2. I think there has been a misunderstanding about a message I send in reply to a message from Dale Deason. Dale was wanting everyone to resend the addresses because he lost his email. I have not had a problem with my email. If you have already send me your address, you don't need to send it again. If you would still like to send you mailing address and surnames being researched to be on file in the Heritage Room, you can still send it to randy@perigee.net with the subject: Union Co. Address. Please don't send the addresses to the Union Co. list. I will give you a few more days to get them in before I compile the list. Thanks Randy
