I checked the book I have for GAULT and not one was entered. Could be a family file, or other information in the Heritage Room in Monroe. Have you checked there?
Do you have any records of a Henry Harris living near your Helms family? This would be up to 1850. ---------- > From: Malak Al Rahim <Demon_@webtv.net> > To: NCUNION-L@rootsweb.com > Subject: [NCUNION-L] Blooming arts Festival > Date: Tuesday, April 27, 1999 4:26 PM > > Ok, all of you Union County people. Hi Jim, Just checked and I could not locate any. I will contact the tombstone manager and see if he has any that he knows of. Speaking of cemeteries... Is there any transcription available of cemeteries in Waxhaw, NC? I have ancestors, WILLIAM GAULT, d. 1803 and his son, ROBERT GAULT, d. 1837, buried in a cemetery in Waxhaw. Don't have any other clue to its location. I checked the archive mentioned but didn't find anything there to help. Ok, all of you Union County people. Are there any fireworks planned for this Friday night?? Also, in response to my first posting, alot of people didn't take me seriously. The fact that there are so many Helms in Union County makes it even harder to trace your roots. If there were only a few, the chances would be greater that there would be a connection. But since there are about a million of us in Monroe (LOL) I have to go through all kinds of names before I get anything. Take care everyone and thanks for your time! Eddie
