    3. First to clarify; The UsGenWeb project is a fantastic idea. It has given us all lots of useful information. It has some very wonderful and dedicated volunteers. Deep down inside I support the concepts of the project. But then there is Jane Moyer - County Coordinator for Transylvania, Swain, Henderson, & Macon Counties. Okay - we have all moaned and groaned over the complete lack of info from our county GenWeb site. I've complained numerous times over the past two years to county, state & national level and been rudely told to basicaly shut up by the former National Coordinator. Jane even has copyright violations on her history page - and she copied erroneous information. Well she just "updated" her page Still didn't fix the broken link Still didn't remove the out-of-print book that is listed for sale She didn't actually write a personally researched County History page Just sent off another big gripe letter to county, state, and national levels. Last round I was told that they needed more than just one person complaining. So I'm inviting you to join in County level writeus@gpsbooks.com State level ncgen@mindspring.com National level bwills@ionia.net Anyone want to offer to take over as coordinator? I know they won't let me do it (we have had that discussion before - that's why I went with ALHN) But I would be happy to help out anyone who wants to create a useful site for this wonderful county our ancestors called home. -- Linda Hoxit Raxter http://www.rootsquest.com/~alextree lraxter@citcom.net Western North Carolina Cemeteries and More!
