That is where my G grandfather raised a bunch of kids. Does anyone know of a family of Hendrix or Hendricks in the area who may have married a Ruth Henderson or may have killed her husband to marry her? My great grandfather was Nathaniel Howard Henderson and raised all of his children in Cathey's Creek. He had three sons killed in the Civil War, one son killed by a neighbor Hendrix, and two other sons: Lorenzo Dow and Elbert Elmore, who lived in Rosman for a while. The daughters were married to Orr , Wilson, and Nicholson. Anyone who has info about these families, it would be sincerely appreciated if you make contact. Bob Henderson Dallas ;TX
