Phillip William Jackson Owen [mine,not cousin Gordon's] died November 1 1889 in Macon county North Carolina,and as far as I know was was buried in that county.I have a way to find out where,but will get that info for you later.According to the info I have now Elizabeth Jane died about 12 days after the twins were born on March 30 1884.We have them as being born in Ninevah North Carolina,so she is probably buried somewhere close by. William Jackson married Ellen Penland shortly after Elizabeth died.They had one son named Johnnie.She was considerably younger than he was and did not stick around for long,[remember that temper].His siblings were. Mary Lavinia Owen 9/1/1849-10/10/1867 married to Joseph Howard Samuel Newton Owen 7/16/1851-? married to Lucinda Adeline Foster. Malinda Catherine Owen 5/1/1853-4/10/1936 married Jesse Harrison Burch on 3/22/1874 in Haywood County NC Jesse Coleman Owen 1/17/1855-1/3/1932 married to Mary Sophronia McConnell James Washington Owen 2/2/1857-8/19/1927 married to Mary Roxie Hogsed [we drove up to Dustin Oklahoma and found him lying peacefully in a picturesque little cemetary,just last weekend.] Belive it or not their are actually small mountains in Hughes County.We are on a mission to reconnect with his descendants,so if their are any of you out there please answer back.
