Tabor (July 18, 1886 - April 15, 1943) and a Amanda M. Cookston Tabor (May 5, 1891 - December 18, 1986) buried in the Tabor Cemetery. He is listed immediately above her. The Tabor Cemetery is available by car. If this is the family you're looking for I can give you directions to the cemetery. My index does include the cemeteries on the North Shore (cemeteries accessible only by boat) and I don't have anyone listed by the names you provided. The folks you are looking for very well may be buried on the North Shore. I've seen some of the headstones on the other side and they very well may be illegible. Do you know if any of these names are listed in "The Cemeteries of Swain County"? Re:Cunningham, Totherow, and/or, Goforth Thanks, Bobbie/N.C.

If not, I suggest you order a copy from the Swain County Register of Deeds. It should name the place of burial. Another source would be to check the Swain County Cemetery Book published by the Swain County Genealogical Society. He may well be listed in it if the stone is still legible and he is buried in Swain County. Hope this helps. Dee Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
